To create a custom list in Excel, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Excel workbook and navigate to the worksheet where you want to create the custom list.
  2. Click on the File tab and then click on Options in the left-hand menu.
  3. In the Excel Options window, click on the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll down to the General section and click on the Edit Custom Lists button.
  5. In the Custom Lists window, type your list items into the List Entries box, with each item on a new line.
  6. Once you have entered all of your list items, click the Add button. Your custom list will now be saved and available for use in your workbook.
