Is a coding Bootcamp enough to get a Job?

Yes, many coding Bootcamps are enough to get a job in the industry. Bootcamps seek to fill the gaps in the industry by teaching skills that are in demand. Some Bootcamps guarantee a job after completion whiles others do not.

Bootcamps are fast-tracked, and you will be able to learn a lot in a very short time. For example, some Bootcamps have full-stack web development programs that run for 4 months or slightly less.

Most good Bootcamps will teach you all the necessary skills to make you employable, but it is up to you to take action and actively seek employment.

Completing coding Bootcamp program will open up many opportunities to work at some of the best tech companies and startups.

Here are some of the coding Bootcamps programs that are enough to get you a job.

UDACITY

Udacity is one of the best platforms to learn coding and get a job. Udacity has many coding nano degree programs in many fields that require coding such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Web Development, Autonomous Systems, DevOps, Data Structures and Algorithms, Blockchain, Cyber Security, and many others.

Most Udacity programs take 3 to 4 months to complete. According to Udacity, 70+% of graduates get promoted or land a better job. Udacity graduates are able to get jobs at popular companies such as Facebook, Infosys, Accenture, Airbus, Vodafone, AT&T, Toyota, Shell, BNP Paribas, BMW, Leidos, etc.

BLOOMTECH

The Bloom Institute of Technology formerly Lambda School is an online coding school that teaches you Software Engineering or Data Science and guarantees that you will get a job earning $50,000 or more.

If you don’t get a Job after their training, they will refund you 110% of what you have paid them. That is: They will refund all of your money and give you 10% more of what you initially paid.

Alternatively, you can pay nothing upfront until you start earning $50,000 or more. Of course, terms and conditions apply. I have an in-depth article about the BloomTech Strategy.

BloomTech has even introduced a new payment option: the Outcome-Based Loan. In this option, if you follow their program and don’t get a job paying at least $50,000 a year, your entire loan will be refunded, including all fees and interest from an approved lender. And, they will directly pay you 10% of the tuition.

The BloomTech graduates work for the world’s top companies including Google, Walmart, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, Apple, Cisco, IBM, Citi, Bank of America, HP, Target, Oracle, Twilio, BigCommerse, Divvy, Blue Origin, Nike, AT&T, and many others

Bloomtech has many programs that require coding such as Web Development, Data Science, Backend Development, and Web3 Development.

IRONHACK

Ironhack is another great Bootcamp that is enough to get a job in the industry. Ironhack offers many coding programs such as Web Development, Cyber Security, Data Analytics, and Web3 Development.

Graduates of Ironhack Bootcamps work for companies like Twitter, Google, Orange, Visa, Magic Leap, Mango, Capgemini, Rocket Internet, and many others.

Their Bootcamps are flexible and short, for example, the Data analytics Bootcamp consists of 60 hours of online learning material.

CONCLUSION

It can be seen that coding Bootcamps are enough to get a job. Some of the graduates of Bootcamps are able to get jobs at some of the major tech companies like Google, Twitter, Microsoft, Apple, Cisco, IBM, Meta, Visa, Infosys, AT&T, Oracle, and many others.

You may need to be familiar with Data structures, and Algorithms to increase your chances of getting a job in some big tech companies. Having a portfolio of your coding projects will also be helpful to attract the attention of employers.
