Can Google Keep be Shared
Yes, you can share a note with other people by adding them as collaborators.
When a note is shared, other users can edit text, audio recordings, images, lists, and drawings.
Here is a step by step process of how to share a Keep note on Mobile devices
- Open the Google Keep app
- Tap on the note that you want to share.
- Tap Action (Three dots) on the bottom right corner
- Then Tap Collaborator on the action panel (You need to allow notes to access your contacts)
- Enter a name, email address, or Google Group.
- In the top right, tap Save.

Your Keep Note is shared successfully, the email addresses you have added will receive a notification.
If you are using a computer, the process is similar
- Open Google Keep using your favorite browser
- Click the note that you want to share.
- Click the Collaborator icon
- Enter a name, email address, or Google Group.
- Choose a name
- Click Save.

Here are some things to understand when sharing Keep Notes:
Anyone you share with can archive, color, label, or add reminders without changing the note for others.
In some cases, you may want to share a note, but you don’t want others to edit it, in this case, you can share it with another app.
If you delete a shared note that you own, it will be deleted for all other users with whom you shared it, unless they made their own copy.
On mobile devices,
- Open the Google Keep app
- Tap on the note that you want to share.
- Tap Action (Three dots) on the bottom right corner
- Then tap Send
- Then choose Send via other apps.

CAN OTHER PEOPLE SEE GOOGLE KEEP?
The Notes that you save in Google Keep are private to you at all times. The only way others can see it and edit it is when you add them as collaborators.
So, unless you choose to share your Keep notes, they will remain private.
